New York High School Basketball - Niagara Falls can't hold off Lewiston-Porter

The Lewiston-Porter Lancers basketball team scored 56 points and restricted the visiting Niagara Falls Wolverines to 52 in the Lancers league victory on Friday.
The Lancers now sport a 9-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lockport for a Section 6 Niagara - Frontier contest on Tuesday, January 17. Lewiston-Porter will battle a Lions team coming off a 80-33 league win over Kenmore East (Tonawanda, NY). The Lions record now stands at 7-4.
The Wolverines (12-1) will now prepare for their contest against Canisius (Buffalo, NY). The Crusaders come into the non-league contest with a 6-4 record. In their last contest, Canisius edged St. Mary's (Lancaster, NY), 54-43, in a league contest.
