St. George's Dragons (Spokane, WA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Lind-Ritzville/Sprague/Washtucna Broncos (Ritzville, WA), 71-56 in a league bout.

With the win, St. George's upgrades its record to 10-3 on the season. The Dragons host Upper Columbia Academy (Spangle, WA) to clash with the Lions in a 2B Bi-County bout on Tuesday, January 17. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 3-6. Upper Columbia Academy won 55-53 in their recent league bout against Chewelah (Chewelah, WA)

Next up, the Broncos clash with the Davenport Gorillas (Davenport, WA) in a 2B Bi-County bout, on Saturday, January 14. Lind-Ritzville/Sprague/Washtucna will attempt to upgrade on its 8-4 season record. The Gorillas go into the bout with a 13-1 record after their 69-51 league win over Colfax (Colfax, WA).
