The New Trier Trevians (Winnetka, IL) basketball crushed the host Maine South Hawks (Park Ridge, IL), 55-25 in Friday's league test.
The Trevians (16-3) will now prepare for their test against Farragut (Chicago, IL). The Admirals go into the non-league test with a 10-10 record. In their last test, Farragut walloped Oak Park-River Forest (Oak Park, IL), 64-61, in a non-league test.
The Hawks now own a 6-10 record. They play next when they host Amundsen for a non-league test on Saturday, January 14. Maine South will encounter a Vikings squad coming off a 70-16 league win over Foreman (Chicago, IL). The Vikings record now stands at 10-2.
