The Manassas Park Cougars basketball team (Manassas Park, VA), was overwhelmed 52-14 in Friday's league battle with the visiting William Monroe Dragons (Stanardsville, VA)

The Dragons now possess a 10-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Skyline for a Northwestern battle on Tuesday, January 17. William Monroe will confront a Hawks team coming off a 80-48 league win over Brentsville District (Nokesville, VA). The Hawks record now stands at 11-0.

The Cougars (0-12) will now prepare for their battle against Meridian (Falls Church, VA). The Mustangs come into the Northwestern battle with a 8-5 record. In their last battle, Meridian trounced Warren County (Front Royal, VA), 83-46, in a league battle.
