Iowa High School Basketball - Marshalltown can't hold off Waterloo East

The Waterloo East Trojans basketball team scored 62 points and held the visiting Marshalltown Bobcats to 55 in the Trojans non-league triumph on Friday.

The Trojans now sport a 7-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Waterloo West for a Mississippi Valley contest on Saturday, January 14. Waterloo East will battle a Wahawks team coming off a 78-62 league win over Liberty (North Liberty, IA). The Wahawks record now stands at 10-1.

The Bobcats (8-5) will now prepare for their contest against Fort Dodge (Fort Dodge, IA). The Dodgers enter the Central Iowa Metro - North bout with a 1-6 record.
