McPherson Bullpups (McPherson, KS) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Mulvane Wildcats (Mulvane, KS), 71-48 in a non-league bout.

With the win, McPherson upgrades its record to 8-1 on the season. The Bullpups host East (Wichita, KS) to play the Aces in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 19. The Aces go into the bout with a record of 1-7.

Next up, the Wildcats play the Clearwater Indians (Clearwater, KS) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 24. Mulvane will attempt to upgrade on its 3-6 season record. The Indians go into the bout with a 0-10 record after their 76-38 non-league loss to Collegiate (Wichita, KS).
