In Friday's league match, the host Miller Grove Wolverines basketball team scored a good 50-33 triumph over the Stephenson Jaguars.
In their next game, the Wolverines meet the Southwest DeKalb Panthers (Decatur, GA) in a AAAA Region 6 match, on Friday, January 20. Miller Grove will attempt to move on its 10-7 season record.
With the defeat, Stephenson moves to 10-7 on the year. The Jaguars host Stone Mountain (Stone Mountain, GA) to meet the Pirates in a AAAA Region 6 match on Tuesday, January 17. The Pirates enter the match with a record of 4-11.
