The Mohall/Lansford/Sherwood Mavericks (Renville, ND) basketball knocked off the visiting Our Redeemer's Christian Knights (Minot, ND), 62-44 in Friday's league test.
The Mavericks (3-3) will now prepare for their test against South Prairie (Minot, ND). The Royals go into the B Region 6 District 12 test with a 1-3 record. In their last test, South Prairie went down by Surrey (Surrey, ND), 52-51, in a league test.
The Knights now own a 1-5 record. They play next when they travel to Westhope/Newburg for a non-league test on Saturday, January 14. Our Redeemer's Christian will encounter a Sioux squad coming off a 65-60 non-league loss to Dunseith (Dunseith, ND). The Sioux record now stands at 5-5.
