Utah High School Basketball - Whitehorse can't hold off Monticello

The Whitehorse Raiders basketball team (Montezuma Creek, UT), was nudged 58-57 in Friday's league battle with the host Monticello Buckaroo (Monticello, UT)

The Buckaroo now sport a 5-7 record. They play next when they travel to Monument Valley for a 1A Region 23 bout on Friday, January 20. Monticello will clash with a Cougars squad coming off a 54-52 non-league win over Red Mesa (Teec Nos Pos, AZ). The Cougars record now stands at 4-8.

Next up, the Raiders clash with the Pinnacle Panthers (Price, UT) in a 1A Region 23 bout, on Friday, January 20. Whitehorse will attempt to upgrade on its 6-8 season record.
