Morton Potters (Morton, IL) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Washington Panthers (Washington, IL), 54-43 in a league bout.
With the victory, Morton upgrades its record to 16-6 on the campaign. The Potters host Glenbard North (Carol Stream, IL) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 14. The Panthers come into the bout with a record of 10-7. Glenbard North lost 68-39 in their recent league bout against Wheaton-Warrenville South (Wheaton, IL)
Next up, the Panthers play the Champaign Central Maroons (Champaign, IL) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 14. Washington will attempt to upgrade on its 10-9 season record. The Maroons come into the bout with a 4-10 record after their 63-44 league loss to Normal West (Normal, IL).
