North Carolina High School Basketball - Mount Pleasant edges Union Academy

January 13, 2023: Mt. Pleasant, NC 28124

The Mount Pleasant Tigers (Mt. Pleasant, NC) basketball nipped the visiting Union Academy Cardinals (Monroe, NC), 67-61 in Friday's league test.

The Tigers (11-7) will now prepare for their contest against Gray Stone Day (Misenheimer, NC). The Knights enter the 1A/2A Conference 35 contest with a 0-14 record. In their last contest, Gray Stone Day was nudged by South Stanly (Norwood, NC), 70-17, in a league contest.

The Cardinals (2-12) will now prepare for their contest against Monroe (Monroe, NC). The Redhawks enter the non-league contest with a 5-6 record.
