The Tennyson Lancers basketball team (Hayward, CA), was overwhelmed 74-46 in Friday's league battle with the host Mt. Eden Monarchs (Hayward, CA)

The Monarchs now possess a 7-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lincoln for a non-league battle on Saturday, January 14. Mt. Eden will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 70-53 league win over Mission (San Francisco, CA). The Mustangs record now stands at 12-2.

The Lancers (6-6) will now prepare for their battle against Hayward (Hayward, CA). The Farmers come into the West Alameda County - Shoreline battle with a 6-7 record. In their last battle, Hayward trounced Arroyo (San Lorenzo, CA), 62-61, in a league battle.
