The Nansemond River Warriors basketball team (Suffolk, VA), dropped 63-54 in Friday's league battle with the host Western Branch Bruins (Chesapeake, VA)
The Bruins now possess a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Thomas Dale for a non-league battle on Monday, January 16. Western Branch will confront a Knights team coming off a 56-48 league win over Colonial Heights (Colonial Heights, VA). The Knights record now stands at 4-8.
The Warriors (8-3) will now prepare for their battle against Hickory (Chesapeake, VA). The Hawks come into the Southeastern battle with a 0-9 record. In their last battle, Hickory dropped by Grassfield (Chesapeake, VA), 85-35, in a league battle.
