The North Middlesex Regional Patriots basketball team (Townsend, MA), was overwhelmed 74-48 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Oakmont Regional Spartans (Ashburnham, MA)

The Spartans now possess a 8-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Shepherd Hill Regional for a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 17. Oakmont Regional will battle a Rams team coming off a 72-27 non-league win over Marlborough (Marlborough, MA). The Rams record now stands at 10-0.

The Patriots (1-7) will now prepare for their battle against Groton-Dunstable (Groton, MA). The Crusaders come into the Midland-Wachusett B battle with a 4-4 record.
