The South Stokes Sauras (Walnut Cove, NC) basketball knocked off the host North Stokes Vikings (Danbury, NC), 69-59 in Friday's league test.
The Sauras (12-4) will now prepare for their test against R.J. Reynolds (Winston-Salem, NC). The Demons go into the non-league test with a 5-11 record. In their last test, R.J. Reynolds went down by Reagan (Pfafftown, NC), 70-64, in a league test.
The Vikings now own a 15-3 record. They play next when they host Elkin for a 1A Conference 36 test on Friday, January 20. North Stokes will encounter a Buckin' Elks squad coming off a 82-31 league loss to Mount Airy (Mount Airy, NC). The Buckin' Elks record now stands at 3-11.
