Northridge Jaguars (Tuscaloosa, AL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Paul W. Bryant Stampede (Cottondale, AL), 53-48 in a league bout.

With the win, Northridge upgrades its record to 5-8 on the season. The Jaguars travel to Chelsea (Chelsea, AL) to play the Hornets in a non-league bout on Monday, January 16. The Hornets go into the bout with a record of 14-8. Chelsea won 50-24 in their recent league bout against Oak Mountain (Birmingham, AL)

Next up, the Stampede play the Parker Thundering Herd (Birmingham, AL) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 16. Paul W. Bryant will attempt to upgrade on its 11-8 season record. The Thundering Herd go into the bout with a 5-11 record after their 68-43 league loss to Homewood (Homewood, AL).
