Washtenaw Christian Academy Wildcats (Saline, MI) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Oakdale Academy (Waterford, MI), 58-52 in a league bout.

With the win, Washtenaw Christian Academy upgrades its record to 9-5 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Bloomfield Christian School (Bloomfield Hills, MI) to clash with the Defenders in a Southeast Michigan bout on Tuesday, January 17. The Defenders go into the bout with a record of 8-4. Bloomfield Christian School lost 47-26 in their recent non-league bout against Rochester Hills Christian (Rochester Hills, MI)

Next up, the clash with the Lake Orion Baptist (Lake Orion, MI) in a Southeast Michigan bout, on Tuesday, January 17. Oakdale Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 9-6 season record.
