Alabama High School Basketball - Park Crossing nudges Pike Road

January 13, 2023: Pike Road, AL 36064

In Friday's league outing, the Park Crossing Thunderbirds (Montgomery, AL) basketball squad edged the host Pike Road Patriots (Pike Road, AL), by a margin of 52-50.

The Thunderbirds (8-9) will now prepare for their outing against Calhoun (Letohatchee, AL). The Tigers go into the non-league outing with a 7-10 record. In their last outing, Calhoun held off Central (Hayneville, AL), 53-48, in a league outing.

The Patriots now own a 14-6 record. They play next when they travel to Russell County for a 6A Area 4 outing on Saturday, January 14. Pike Road will clash with a Warriors squad coming off a 70-61 league loss to Park Crossing (Montgomery, AL). The Warriors record now stands at 10-8.
