Pasadena Eagles (Pasadena, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Sam Rayburn Texans (Pasadena, TX), 74-64 in a league bout.
With the win, Pasadena upgrades its record to 24-2 on the season. The Eagles travel to South Houston (South Houston, TX) to clash with the Trojans in a 6A Region III District 22 bout on Tuesday, January 17. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 18-5. South Houston won 51-41 in their recent league bout against Deer Park (Deer Park, TX)
Next up, the Texans clash with the Pasadena Memorial Mavericks (Pasadena, TX) in a 6A Region III District 22 bout, on Tuesday, January 17. Sam Rayburn will attempt to upgrade on its 4-21 season record. The Mavericks go into the bout with a 16-10 record after their 70-55 league win over Channelview (Channelview, TX).
