Virginia High School Basketball - Petersburg winner over Prince George

The Petersburg Crimson Wave (Petersburg, VA) basketball felled the visiting Prince George Royals (Prince George, VA), 56-42 in Friday's league test.

The Crimson Wave (8-5) will now prepare for their test against Forest Park (Woodbridge, VA). The Bruins go into the non-league bout with a 9-5 record. In their last bout, Forest Park topped Potomac Senior (Dumfries, VA), 64-52, in a league bout.

Next up, the Royals clash with the Booker T. Washington Mighty Bookers (Norfolk, VA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 14. Prince George will attempt to upgrade on its 1-11 season record. The Mighty Bookers go into the bout with a 6-2 record after their 65-60 league win over Manor (Portsmouth, VA).
