The Pickett County Bobcats basketball team scored 80 points and held the host Red Boiling Springs Bulldogs to 53 in the Bobcats league triumph on Friday.
The Bobcats now sport a 10-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Clarkrange for a 1A District 7 bout on Tuesday, January 17. Pickett County will play a Buffaloes squad coming off a 69-29 league loss to Clay County (Celina, TN). The Buffaloes record now stands at 5-13.
Next up, the Bulldogs play the Westmoreland Eagles (Westmoreland, TN) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 16. Red Boiling Springs will attempt to upgrade on its 1-9 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 14-6 record after their 63-54 league win over Smith County (Carthage, TN).
