In Friday's league outing, the Polytechnic Parrots (Fort Worth, TX) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Trimble Tech Bulldogs (Fort Worth, TX), by a count of 48-27.

The Parrots (3-14) will now prepare for their outing against North Side (Fort Worth, TX). The Steers go into the 5A Region I District 6 outing with a 4-15 record. In their last outing, North Side was crushed by Arlington Heights (Fort Worth, TX), 70-26, in a league outing.

The Bulldogs now hold a 0-16 record. They play next when they travel to Wyatt for a 5A Region I District 6 outing on Wednesday, January 18. Trimble Tech will clash with a Chaparrals squad coming off a 56-49 league win over Everman (Everman, TX). The Chaparrals record now stands at 8-10.
