Randolph Rams (Randolph, NJ) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Sparta Spartans (Sparta, NJ), 41-36 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Randolph upgrades its record to 3-9 on the season. The Rams host Roxbury (Succasunna, NJ) to play the Gaels in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 14. The Gaels go into the bout with a record of 3-5. Roxbury won 39-28 in their recent league bout against Morris Hills (Rockaway, NJ)

Next up, the Spartans play the West Morris Mendham Minutemen (Mendham, NJ) in a Northwest Jersey - American bout, on Thursday, January 19. Sparta will attempt to upgrade on its 7-3 season record. The Minutemen go into the bout with a 7-4 record after their 48-31 non-league win over Whippany Park (Whippany, NJ).
