The Saginaw Rough Riders (Saginaw, TX) basketball knocked off the visiting Rider Raiders (Wichita Falls, TX), 49-41 in Friday's league test.
The Rough Riders (10-12) will now prepare for their test against Northwest (Justin, TX). The Texans go into the 5A Region I District 5 test with a 11-14 record. In their last test, Northwest notched a victory over Rider (Wichita Falls, TX), 49-31, in a league test.
The Raiders now own a 13-10 record. They play next when they travel to Aledo for a 5A Region I District 5 test on Tuesday, January 17. Rider will encounter a Bearcats squad coming off a 38-35 league win over Granbury (Granbury, TX). The Bearcats record now stands at 11-7.
