Ohio High School Basketball - Whitmer nips Ross

Whitmer Panthers (Toledo, OH) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Ross Little Giants (Fremont, OH), 69-63 in a league bout.
With the win, Whitmer upgrades its record to 8-4 on the season. The Panthers travel to Olentangy Orange (Lewis Center, OH) to play the Pioneers in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 14. The Pioneers go into the bout with a record of 9-2. Olentangy Orange lost 56-55 in their recent league bout against Olentangy Liberty (Powell, OH)
Next up, the Little Giants play the St. Francis de Sales Knights (Toledo, OH) in a Freelance bout, on Friday, January 20. Ross will attempt to upgrade on its 3-8 season record.
