Saegertown Panthers (Saegertown, PA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Youngsville Eagles (Youngsville, PA), 64-36 in a league bout.

With the win, Saegertown upgrades its record to 9-4 on the season. The Panthers host Maplewood (Guys Mills, PA) to play the Tigers in a District 10 Region 2 bout on Tuesday, January 17. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 2-11. Maplewood lost 66-35 in their recent league bout against Eisenhower (Russell, PA)

Next up, the Eagles play the Cochranton Cardinals (Cochranton, PA) in a District 10 Region 2 bout, on Friday, January 20. Youngsville will attempt to upgrade on its 1-9 season record.
