In Friday's league outing, the Southwest Raiders (Fort Worth, TX) basketball squad overwhelmed the host South Hills Scorpions (Fort Worth, TX), by a margin of 66-28.

The Raiders (11-10) will now prepare for their outing against Everman (Everman, TX). The Bulldogs go into the 5A Region I District 6 outing with a 8-10 record. In their last outing, Everman was trounced by Wyatt (Fort Worth, TX), 56-49, in a league outing.

The Scorpions now own a 4-18 record. They play next when they host Arlington Heights for a 5A Region I District 6 outing on Tuesday, January 17. South Hills will clash with a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 70-26 league win over North Side (Fort Worth, TX). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 15-8.
