Iowa High School Basketball - Turkey Valley nudges South Winneshiek

Turkey Valley Trojans (Jackson Junction, IA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host South Winneshiek Warriors (Calmar, IA), 63-57 in a league bout.
With the win, Turkey Valley upgrades its record to 8-4 on the season. The Trojans host Clayton-Ridge (Guttenburg, IA) to clash with the Eagles in a Upper Iowa bout on Tuesday, January 17. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 9-5.
Next up, the Warriors clash with the Sumner-Fredericksburg Cougars (Sumner, IA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 19. South Winneshiek will attempt to upgrade on its 8-6 season record.
