Stilwell Indians (Stilwell, OK) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Spiro Bulldogs (Spiro, OK), 66-40 in a league bout.

With the win, Stilwell upgrades its record to 5-2 on the season. The Indians travel to Checotah (Checotah, OK) to play the Wildcats in a NOAA bout on Tuesday, January 24. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 2-4. Checotah won 56-52 in their recent league bout against Poteau (Poteau, OK)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Sallisaw Black Diamonds (Sallisaw, OK) in a NOAA bout, on Tuesday, January 24. Spiro will attempt to upgrade on its 2-8 season record. The Black Diamonds go into the bout with a 5-3 record after their 60-57 league loss to Roland (Roland, OK).
