The Sports & Medical Sciences Academy Tigers (Hartford, CT) basketball crushed the visiting Stafford Bulldogs (Stafford Springs, CT), 75-40 in Friday's league test.

The Tigers (6-2) will now prepare for their test against Bolton (Bolton, CT). The Bulldogs go into the North Central Connecticut test with a 3-6 record. In their last test, Bolton was trounced by Somers (Somers, CT), 53-31, in a league test.

The Bulldogs now own a 2-6 record. They play next when they host RHAM for a non-league test on Wednesday, January 18. Stafford will encounter a Raptors squad coming off a 75-58 league win over Edwin O. Smith (Storrs, CT). The Raptors record now stands at 5-4.
