The St. Louis University Junior Bills basketball team scored 71 points and held the host Vianney Golden Griffins to 69 in the Junior Bills league triumph on Friday.

The Junior Bills now sport a 4-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Christian Brothers for a Metro Catholic contest on Friday, January 20. St. Louis University will meet a Cadets team coming off a 62-60 non-league win over Soldan International Studies (St. Louis, MO). The Cadets record now stands at 10-7.

The Golden Griffins (1-6) will now prepare for their contest against Waterloo (Waterloo, IL). The Bulldogs enter the non-league contest with a 5-12 record. In their last contest, Waterloo was nudged by Triad (Troy, IL), 55-15, in a league contest.
