Zwolle Hawks (Zwolle, LA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Stanley Panthers (Logansport, LA), 39-33 in a league bout.

With the victory, Zwolle upgrades its record to 21-1 on the campaign. The Hawks travel to Florien (Florien, LA) to play the Blackcats in a B District 3 bout on Tuesday, January 17. The Blackcats come into the bout with a record of 1-11.

Next up, the Panthers play the Negreet Indians (Negreet, LA) in a B District 3 bout, on Tuesday, January 17. Stanley will attempt to upgrade on its 3-6 season record. The Indians come into the bout with a 5-4 record after their 66-51 league win over Converse (Converse, LA).
