In Friday's non-league outing, the Stewarts Creek Red Hawks (Smyrna, TN) basketball squad nipped the host Warren County Pioneers & Lady Pioneers (McMinnville, TN), by a margin of 76-69.
The Red Hawks (9-6) will now prepare for their outing against Antioch (Antioch, TN). The Bears go into the 4A District 8 outing with a 12-7 record. In their last outing, Antioch was tipped by LaVergne (LaVergne, TN), 41-36, in a league outing.
The Pioneers & Lady Pioneers now own a 7-13 record. They play next when they travel to Franklin County for a 4A District 6 outing on Tuesday, January 17. Warren County will clash with a Rebels squad coming off a 49-44 non-league win over Tullahoma (Tullahoma, TN). The Rebels record now stands at 6-10.
