West Virginia High School Basketball - Wyoming East fells Summers County

Wyoming East Warriors (New Richmond, WV) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Summers County Bobcats (Hinton, WV), 53-41 in a league bout.
With the win, Wyoming East upgrades its record to 9-2 on the season. The Warriors host Bluefield (Bluefield, WV) to play the Beavers in a Coalfield AA bout on Tuesday, January 17. The Beavers go into the bout with a record of 5-2.
Next up, the Bobcats play the James Monroe Mavericks (Lindside, WV) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 17. Summers County will attempt to upgrade on its 4-6 season record. The Mavericks go into the bout with a 11-2 record after their 91-55 non-league win over Clay-Battelle (Blacksville, WV).
