Texas High School Basketball - Temple Christian can't hold off Trinity

The Trinity Chargers basketball team scored 42 points and held the visiting Temple Christian Eagles to 39 in the Chargers league triumph on Friday.

The Chargers now sport a 4-19 record. They put it on the line next when they host Calvary Academy for a TAPPS 3A District 1 contest on Saturday, January 14. Trinity will battle a Lions team coming off a 42-41 league win over Fellowship Academy (Kennedale, TX). The Lions record now stands at 5-9.

The Eagles (6-10) will now prepare for their contest against Trinity (Midland, TX). The Chargers enter the TAPPS 3A District 1 contest with a 4-19 record.
