Washington High School Basketball - Toppenish knocked off by Zillah

The Zillah Leopards basketball team scored 70 points and held the host Toppenish Wildcats to 61 in the Leopards league triumph on Friday.
The Leopards now sport a 9-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Prosser for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 14. Zillah will meet a Mustangs team coming off a 80-61 non-league win over Moses Lake (Moses Lake, WA). The Mustangs record now stands at 10-1.
The Wildcats (9-3) will now prepare for their contest against Wapato (Wapato, WA). The Wolves enter the 1A South Central - West contest with a 6-6 record. In their last contest, Wapato ran past Cashmere (Cashmere, WA), 75-58, in a non-league contest.
