The Wheatmore Warriors basketball team (Trinity, NC), dropped 58-48 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Uwharrie Charter Eagles (Asheboro, NC)

The Eagles now possess a 4-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Forsyth Home Educators for a non-league battle on Monday, January 16. Uwharrie Charter will confront a Hawks team coming off a 69-40 league loss to South Charlotte Thunder (Matthews, NC). The Hawks record now stands at 5-18.

The Warriors (5-11) will now prepare for their battle against Randleman (Randleman, NC). The Tigers come into the 1A/2A Conference 31 battle with a 12-6 record. In their last battle, Randleman dropped by Trinity (Trinity, NC), 67-55, in a league battle.
