WACO Warriors (Wayland, IA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Wapello Indians (Wapello, IA), 54-30 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, WACO upgrades its record to 13-0 on the campaign. The Warriors host Winfield-Mt. Union (Winfield, IA) to play the Wolves in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 17. The Wolves come into the bout with a record of 12-2. Winfield-Mt. Union won 58-51 in their recent league bout against Pekin (Packwood, IA)
