Denver North Vikings (Denver, CO) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Adams City Eagles (Commerce City, CO), 49-38 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Denver North upgrades its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Thomas Jefferson (Denver, CO) to play the Spartans in a bout on Thursday, February 2. The Spartans come into the bout with a record of 1-2.

Next up, the Eagles play the Aurora Central Trojans (Aurora, CO) in a bout, on Tuesday, January 17. Adams City will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record.
