Archbishop Riordan Crusaders (San Francisco, CA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Valley Christian Warriors (San Jose, CA), 51-40 in a league bout.

With the victory, Archbishop Riordan upgrades its record to 12-10 on the campaign. The Crusaders host Archbishop Mitty (San Jose, CA) to play the Monarchs in a bout on Tuesday, January 17. The Monarchs come into the bout with a record of 5-2. Archbishop Mitty lost 42-40 in their recent league bout against Bellarmine College Prep (San Jose, CA)
