Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Los Altos Conquerors (Hacienda Heights, CA) and the visiting Walnut Mustangs (Walnut, CA), saw Los Altos's basketball squad hold off Walnut by a count of 65-59.

With the victory, Los Altos upgrades its record to 15-1 on the campaign. The Conquerors host South Hills (West Covina, CA) to play the Huskies in a challenge on Wednesday, January 18. The Huskies come into the challenge with a record of 3-1. South Hills lost 67-62 in their recent league challenge against Bonita (La Verne, CA)

Next up, the Mustangs play the Los Altos Conquerors (Hacienda Heights, CA) in a challenge, on Wednesday, February 1. Walnut will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
