In Friday's league outing, the Village Christian Crusaders (Sun Valley, CA) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Valley Christian Defenders (Cerritos, CA), by a margin of 67-36.

The Crusaders (10-5) will now prepare for their outing against Whittier Christian (La Habra, CA). The Heralds go into the outing with a 0-3 record. In their last outing, Whittier Christian was trounced by Beckman (Irvine, CA), 61-16, in a non-league outing.

The Defenders now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Village Christian for a outing on Thursday, February 2.
