Alabama High School Basketball - Abbeville Christian Academy nipped by Chambers Academy

In Friday's league match, the visiting Chambers Academy Rebels basketball team scored a tight 55-54 triumph over the Abbeville Christian Academy Generals.

In their next game, the Rebels face the Lakeside School Chiefs (Eufaula, AL) in a AISA AA Region 1 match, on Tuesday, January 17. Chambers Academy will attempt to move on its 1-8 season record. The Chiefs enter the match with a 7-9 record after their 48-39 league win over Abbeville Christian Academy (Abbeville, AL).

With the defeat, Abbeville Christian Academy moves to 9-8 on the year. The Generals travel to Ezekiel Academy (Montgomery, AL) to face the Knights in a non-league match on Tuesday, January 17. The Knights enter the match with a record of 7-7. Ezekiel Academy won 54-15 in their recent non-league match against Ballard Christian (Auburn, AL)
