Colorado High School Basketball - Alamosa nudges Ignacio

January 13, 2023: Ignacio, CO 81137

Alamosa Mean Moose (Alamosa, CO) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Ignacio Bobcats (Ignacio, CO), 39-34 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Alamosa upgrades its record to 8-3 on the season. The Mean Moose travel to Montezuma-Cortez (Cortez, CO) to clash with the Panthers in a 4A/3A Intermountain bout on Saturday, January 14. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 3-4. Montezuma-Cortez won 49-28 in their recent league bout against Bayfield (Bayfield, CO)

Next up, the Bobcats clash with the Pagosa Springs Pirates (Pagosa Springs, CO) in a 4A/3A Intermountain bout, on Saturday, January 14. Ignacio will attempt to upgrade on its 6-3 season record. The Pirates go into the bout with a 0-10 record after their 40-28 league loss to Centauri (La Jara, CO).
