Texas High School Basketball - Albany knocked off by Anson

The Anson Tigers basketball team scored 55 points and held the visiting Albany Lions to 35 in the Tigers league triumph on Friday.
The Tigers now sport a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Stamford for a 2A Region II District 10 contest on Tuesday, January 17. Anson will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 60-24 league win over Albany (Albany, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 11-3.
The Lions (3-8) will now prepare for their contest against Cisco (Cisco, TX). The Loboes enter the 2A Region II District 10 contest with a 12-3 record. In their last contest, Cisco ran past Hamlin (Hamlin, TX), 67-20, in a league contest.
