In Friday's league outing, the Miramonte Matadors (Orinda, CA) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Alhambra Bulldogs (Martinez, CA), by a count of 63-38.

The Matadors (15-2) will now prepare for their outing against Northgate (Walnut Creek, CA). The Broncos go into the Diablo - Foothill outing with a 14-3 record. In their last outing, Northgate was crushed by American Canyon (American Canyon, CA), 66-61, in a non-league outing.

The Bulldogs now hold a 7-8 record. They play next when they travel to Clayton Valley Charter for a Diablo - Foothill outing on Monday, January 16. Alhambra will clash with a Ugly Eagles squad coming off a 95-19 league loss to Acalanes (Lafayette, CA). The Ugly Eagles record now stands at 7-10.
