The Wolverines now possess a 7-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Smyrna for a 4A District 8 battle on Tuesday, January 17. LaVergne will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 49-45 non-league loss to Cane Ridge (Nashville, TN). The Bulldogs record now stands at 6-9.

The Bears (7-8) will now prepare for their battle against Stewarts Creek (Smyrna, TN). The Red Hawks come into the 4A District 8 battle with a 18-3 record. In their last battle, Stewarts Creek trounced Hutchison (Memphis, TN), 71-44, in a non-league battle.
