Norte Vista Braves (Riverside, CA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Arlington Lions (Riverside, CA), 53-17 in a league bout.

With the victory, Norte Vista upgrades its record to 6-14 on the campaign. The Braves travel to La Sierra (Riverside, CA) to play the Eagles in a River Valley bout on Wednesday, January 18. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 5-10. La Sierra lost 78-24 in their recent league bout against Patriot (Jurupa Valley, CA)

Next up, the Lions play the Riverside Prep Silver Knights (Oro Grande, CA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 16. Arlington will attempt to upgrade on its 5-12 season record. The Silver Knights come into the bout with a 16-3 record after their 71-29 league win over Big Bear (Big Bear City, CA).
