In Friday's league outing, the Chattooga Indians (Summerville, GA) basketball squad nipped the visiting Armuchee Indians (Rome, GA), by a margin of 57-56.

The Indians (7-10) will now prepare for their outing against Trion (Trion, GA). The Bulldogs go into the A D1 Region 7 outing with a 13-1 record. In their last outing, Trion got by LaFayette (LaFayette, GA), 61-42, in a non-league outing.

The Indians now own a 10-8 record. They play next when they host Dalton Academy for a A D1 Region 7 outing on Tuesday, January 17. Armuchee will encounter a Pumas squad coming off a 87-12 league loss to Darlington (Rome, GA). The Pumas record now stands at 0-16.
