In Friday's league outing, the Tatum Eagles (Tatum, TX) basketball squad beat the visiting Arp Tigers (Arp, TX), by a margin of 32-22.
The Eagles (12-8) will now prepare for their outing against Jefferson (Jefferson, TX). The Bulldogs go into the 3A Region II District 16 outing with a 16-11 record. In their last outing, Jefferson defeated Arp (Arp, TX), 53-43, in a league outing.
The Tigers now own a 12-9 record. They play next when they travel to Troup for a 3A Region II District 16 match on Tuesday, January 17. Arp will meet a Tigers team coming off a 48-45 league loss to West Rusk (New London, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 10-14.
